ALL THINGS RELEVANT
Hi everyone, welcome to my blog where I share my thoughts on the history of the 2000s. This decade was full of events that shaped our world today, from wars and terrorism to politics and technology. But not everyone agrees on how to interpret these events, and some people have very different views from mine. In this post, I want to talk about one of these views, which I think is very biased and inaccurate.
Some people claim that our history for the 2000s looks like something they should never write about. They say that a president who kept all his promises to the people in his first term was chased out of office by the sick left agenda Politian's. Then corrupt people along with corrupt government people are now in place to take away the rights of the people by trying to take down the Constitution of the United States.
I think this view is completely wrong and ignores many facts and realities. First of all, the president they are talking about is George W. Bush, who was elected in 2000 after a controversial and disputed election in Florida. He was not chased out of office, but served two terms until 2009, when he was succeeded by Barack Obama, who won the election fair and square. Second, Bush did not keep all his promises to the people, but instead led the country into two costly and unpopular wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, which were based on false claims of weapons of mass destruction and links to al-Qaeda. He also presided over a huge economic crisis in 2008, which was caused by deregulation and greed in the financial sector. Third, the people who are now in power are not corrupt or trying to take away the rights of the people but are trying to solve the problems that Bush left behind. They are also respecting the Constitution and the rule of law, unlike Bush who authorized illegal wiretapping and torture of suspected terrorists.
So, as you can see, our history for the 2000s is not something we should be ashamed of or hide from. It is something we should learn from and understand better. It is a history that shows us the challenges and opportunities we face as a nation and as a world. It is a history that we should write about with honesty and integrity.
